What does this section cover?
This section covers weekly income foregone by members, regional boards, players, officials, volunteers, trainers, umpires, referees, coaches, directors, officers, committees, sub-committees and work experience students should they be injured whilst involved in a netball related activity.
What is the benefit payable?
| Member Organisation | Weekly Benefit | Elimination Period |

| Netball SA | $250 per week | 14 days |
| Netball Tasmania | $250 per week | 14 days |

The cover will be either 80% of the members’ net weekly income or the dollar amount selected – whichever is the lesser. The maximum benefit period is 104 weeks. The elimination period will apply commencing from the first day medical treatment was sought for an injury resulting in total or partial disablement, for which no compensation is payable. Please note that payments will be made to claimants net of tax by the Scheme and group certificates issued.
In determining Loss of Income payments, sick leave entitlements and the relevant elimination period will be taken into account in the calculation process.
